Enrichment
Classes & Clubs
Enrichment classes and clubs serve as a community gathering place where learners can:
Connect with local instructors and mentors.
Build friendships and learn in community.
Explore new interests and passions.
Rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach, we celebrate the many ways children learn and grow. The Bridge supports a wide range of educational philosophies, including:
Unschooling
Public school
Homeschool
Montessori
All learners are welcome!
The Village Co-op is The Bridge Learning Community’s early childhood program. If you are a parent of a little one (0-6), you know that it truly does take a village. Join us as we survive and thrive through these early days of parenthood together. This is the place for families of littles to connect and support one another, as well as give their kiddos a safe place to play, learn, and interact with peers.
Become a member of The Village Co-op today! Membership fees are sliding scale (anywhere from $5-$150/ a month, based on what each family can give.
To register, or for more info, click here: The Village Co-op Membership
Included in membership is the option to enroll in weekly Playschool (a parent run, co-op preschool!) More info: The Village Playschool
If you're not ready to commit to becoming a member quite yet, we totally understand, finding your village can be hard and a good fit is important. We suggest coming to a FREE Wednesday Community Playgroup to try it out for yourself!
Every Wednesday The Village hosts a playgroup that is free and open to all families with young children (ages 0-6), and their older siblings. You do not need to be a member to come be a part of Wednesday Playgroup. Parents come to Wednesday Playgroup to connect and get a cup of coffee in a safe place that has plentiful play spaces for their littles, including an imaginative play room, a craft room, and a gym! Wednesday playgroup is a great way to get plugged in and check out the space before deciding to become a member.
Spark is a mixed aged, interest-driven, relationship-rich self-directed learning cooperative. Students help create the guidelines of the community and everyone is encouraged to provide offerings and engage in learning.
Please contact Amy Nelson for a tour/orientation BEFORE registering for this class.
